The song is no simple tune. In fact, the punk band gets heavy in “Boogeyman,” and the song contains a mind-boggling eleven different time changes. Besides the challenging time elements, the song transforms from punk to jazz to heavy metal.

The video was filmed by local videographer Sean Johnson with a lot of input by Dino Skatepark vocalist Dylan Belpanno and drummer Joe Quinn.

Dino Skatepark finds a way to blend a balance of many different styles and sounds into their music to appeal to as many listeners as possible. The band was formed in 2014 and since then has had a constant drive to produce music and perform their music live.

Dino Skatepark released their five track, debut EP, “Dino Skatepark” in the spring of 2016. One year later, they re-recorded and re-mastered those songs and then added new songs into their latest work titled, “Dino Skatepark: Take Two.”

New Music From the Long Island Band – The Influencers

November 5, 2018:

The Influencers are a three- piece Indie Rock band from Glen Cove Long Island:

The Influencers

The band formed in 2010 and have released three full length studio albums:

  • Deepwater Horizon (2012)
  • Running In Circles (2013)
  • Valhalla (2015)

Their music blew up overnight thanks to another Glen Cove native and now widely popular YouTuber, Danny Casale (aka Coolman Coffee Dan) featured their music on one of his videos.

The band has been reviewed positively by other well-known Long Island natives, The Alessi Brothers, and indie publications such as Indie Music Magazine who said, “these guys have a knack for poppy beats, dreamy guitars, storybook lyrics and flowing melodies”.

And although they had modest success in the past, in 2013 the band went on hiatus.

During this time the band members worked on other local projects. Steven Suarez, the drummer for the band, worked with artists at Richie Cannata’s Cove City Sounds Studios while Evan Yan, the writer and singer for the band worked on producing other musicians such as Matt Grabowski.

Now, The Influencers are back with fire and energy in their new song, “Dancing On Graves”, a song aptly named and written about embracing their past, life choices and who they are. Evan stated, “the song is really about capitalizing on second chances, embracing your past and celebrating them as a part of who you are. We feel this is our second chance and we are going to make the most of it”.
