Good pals since Junior High school, Jim Ahl (lead, rhythm guitar, vocals) and Dan Gribbins (bass guitar) formed the group in 2013. Mike Virtuoso (yes, that's his real name) joined the band on guitar and vocals that first year. The group played mostly acoustic shows.
They soon went electric, and a year later added drummer and vocalist Frankie "Tomatoes" Ruiss. He jelled immediately with the trio, and added a whole new dimension to the group.
Both hailing from Lindenhurst New York, Mike and Jim used the original name of the town from the late 1800s - Breslau. Frankie added the Bombers, and the "Breslau Bombers" were born.
Mike parachuted out of town in 2015 and the band added extraordinary keyboardist and vocalist Matt Collorafi of Amityville. Creating a new dynamic for the band with powerful vocals, his intense keyboard cuts through the mix. With Mike in town for the occasional gig, the Bombers played locally in 2016.
Now with a full line up, The Breslau Bombers are gigging on Long Island. The band plays mostly classic rock with their own unique interpretations and prides themselves on getting the audience "movin & groovin".
